The Exclusive Men of the Year Awards seek to honour these gentlemen for the role they continuously play in nation building.

Having had its maiden edition in the year 2016, the EMYs Africa Awards has over the past two years distinguished itself as one of the best award schemes in the country.

For the third edition in Ghana, the 2018 edition, the nomination event was held on Thursday, July 26 at the Land Rover Showroom in Ghana.

With all eyes set on the bigger prizes for the 2018 Exclusive Men of the Year Awards, nominees were mentioned one by one as the competition begins.

King Promise and Kuami Eugene go head to head in the battle for Discovery of the Year. However, the two musicians will face a keen test from Ghanaian world title holding boxer Isaac Dogboe.

Okyeame Kwame and Stephen Appiah will face off in the Best Groomed award which seeks to spot the shining star in the world of style and fashion.

Fashion Designer of the Year proves a difficult pick as Chocolate Clothing, Brommon, Kustom Looks, Adepa Shoes and Maison Hardman race towards the exclusive man to have given the creative looks for the year under review.

Daniel Avle and Ameyaw Debrah are in the Man of the Year Communication category with Stonebwoy facing stiff competition from Akrobeto in the world of entertainment.

The winner of the Footballer of the Year at the Ghana Football Awards, Thomas Teye Partey will go against Ghana’s first Skeleton participant at an Olympic Games, Akwasi Frimpong.
