Asamoah Gyan's boxer drops in latest WBA rankings
Emmanuel 'Game Boy' Tagoe has slipped from 12 to 15 position in the WBA rankings for the month of June.
He slipped from 8th to 12th two months ago and has further dropped to 15th in the month of June.
Tagoe’s drop began after he vacated the WBA international lightweight belt, a belt he had held for two years and contested for the IBO lightweight belt last year, defeating South African’s Mzonke Fana by unanimous decision.
On August 26th at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Tagoe will defend his IBO lightweight belt against WBA rated number Argenis Mendez.
