Kotoko pick Wa All Stars over Hearts to win the league

Asante Kotoko would like to see Wa All Stars pull a Leicester City if the Kumasi based club miss out on the league title.

The Phobians after match day 21 of the ongoing campaign are top of the log sheet with 38 points while the Wa based club sit at the second position with 35 points with one game in hand.

Following last Sunday’s 1-1 draw game between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, it seems the Kumasi based club management member has given up on the title chase as they are five points behind the Phobians with nine games left.

“There are nine matches to go. If Kotoko cannot win the league, we will work against Hearts. We will work for Wa All Stars because they also have what it takes.

“Look at what happened in England, Leicester City winning the league, no one ever imagined it. We [Kotoko] will ensure Hearts do not taste league glory,” he told Class FM.
