Nafui, Yeboah wins MTN CEO Invitaional Golf Tourney

Master Nafui finished top in the Men’s Category A (HCP 1-9) with 71 strokes and was followed by Mr Charles Amihere with 74 strokes with Foster Korang also finishing third with 74 strokes.

Master Abubakar Nafui and Ms Edith Yeboah emerged winners in the first of the series of the MTN CEO Invitational Golf Tournament for the year 2016 which was held last weekend at the Damang Golf Club.

In Category B (HCP 10-17), Peter Mensah came first with 37 strokes with Paul Osei Assibey and Ernest Oboh finishing second and third respectively with 37 strokes.

Mike Hurtubise also finished first in Category C (HCP 18-24) with 28 strokes while Maxwell Osei Bonsu with 26 strokes emerged second and G. Asante came third with 25 strokes.

In the Ladies’ Group, Edith Yeboah was adjudged winner with 41 points followed by Floria Hurtubise with 33 points with Paulina Acheampong coming third with 32 points.

Foster Korang was also awarded for men’s nearest to the pin while Floria Hurtubise took the ladies category. Floria was again awarded for the Ladies’ longest drive while I. Adams took the male category.

In the professional golfers group, Mr Kojo Barnie was adjudged winner with 70 points followed by Chichi Jackson with 73 points and George Osei with 76 points.

Senior Manager at MTN Western and Central Business District, Mr Simon Amoh congratulated the golfers for answering their call to participate in the tournament.

He said: “apart from calling your driver or shipping agent to track your goods etc., you can purchase an Asset Tracker Device to track your valuable assets anywhere, anytime in Ghana by logging onto the internet using your smart phone, laptop or portable mobile device.”

He added that MTN is working towards providing great internet experience to their customers within the mining communities such as Damang.
