Mac Manu breaks silence on 'deportation' from Kenya; says nothing happened

Mac Manu was denied entry on suspicion that he was going to help Kenya’s opposition coalition, the National Super Alliance (NASA), to win the election.

“Nothing happened in Kenya," he told TV3 during NPP's delegates conference in the Central Region. “I don’t know the definition of deportation vis-a-vis I won’t allow you to come to my country."

He was prevented from entering the East African nation with an unnamed Ghanaian.

Also, John Aristotle Phillips, an American, and Andreas Katsouris, a Canadian, were also deported for working with the opposition.

The NPP issued a statement blasting the decision of the Kenyan government.

The party's general secretary decried that decision as "unfortunate."
