Schlupp’s Leicester stun Jordan’s Villa with comeback win

JeffreySchlupp won the battle against international team mate Jordan Ayew as Leicester City entertained Aston Villa in the Premier League

 

Ghanaian players Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew had a face off in the English Premier League on Sunday as Leicester City entertained Aston Villa.

Defender Schlupp was given a starting role in Leicester’s home game as Jordan Ayew made a substitute appearance for the away side.

Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side however stuck it to Jordan’s Aston Villa edging them in a five-goal thriller.

Jack Grealish opened the scoring for Aston Villa to take the away side 1-0 up going into the half time break.

Carles Gil doubled the lead for Villa but a superb comeback from Leicester City saw them claim all three points in the end.

Ritchie De Laet pulled a goal back for the home side before Jamie Vardy leveled the score line at 2-2.

Nathan Dyer scored the winner with a minute to the end of regular time as Leicester City beat Aston Villa by three goals to two.
