R&B star fights at a concert promoting non-violence

The singer proved being late to an event needs no yelling after he punched an event promoter who questions his lateness in St. Louis.

August Alsina was involved in a brawl after a show to promote non-violence in St. Louis, Saturday night (January 17) and it was all captured on camera!

According to TMZ, the R&B fast rising star exchanged blows backstage with the show's promoter, Loose Cannon Slim, after Slim confronted the singer for coming late.

The site claims both exchanged hurtful words at each other which resulted to a serious fight.

Ironically, the event called State Of Emergency 2 was a campaign against violence and the illegal use of guns. Proceeds from the show were forwarded towards the 'Put Down the Pistol Program'.
