“I won't be a pastor again" - Ofori Amponsah

Highlife artiste, Ofori Amponsah, has revealed that he is no more a pastor due to his return to highlife music.

The ‘Otoolege’ hitmaker who quit the highlife scene to pursue full time ministry at the 'Holy Grounds Sanctuary' recently announced his return to the Highlife scene with a new single ‘Alewa’ featuring Sarkodie.

Amponsah  told Starr FM that he has decided to drop his pastoral responsibilities and become a normal church member.

Amponsah who still believes in Jesus said “I will no more be a pastor of the Church.” He added: “I will now be a member of the church…I will still worship with them, that is what I was doing before I became Ofori Amponsah and I will continue doing it.”

Amponsah also dismissed claims that he has disappointed God by returning to highlife. “I have not disappointed God… I think I am on the right path,” he said.
