The song, Ghana Mmaa which was produced by Ball J and released early this year seems to have gained popularity in Ghana’s music circles. Although Azay has asserted that the purpose of featuring Bisa Kdei, which was to make the song a hit, has been achieved, he wished people identified him with the song than crediting Bisa.

“People think the song is for Bisa Kdei… We needed a big artiste on the song, we didn’t want an unknown artiste. We sought advice from many people and we concluded on featuring Bisa Kdei because we believed it will help push the song due to his popularity. The song is a hit but people think it’s for Bisa,” he said on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz on Friday.

Azay disclosed that Bisa Kdei was aid between eight thousand and ten thousand Ghana Cedis [GHC 8,000-10,000] for the song and the video shoot. According to the rapper, Bisa wrote the chorus and the verse while he wrote the raps.

Asked if he will feature any top artiste after this experience, Azay responded in the affirmative.

“Why not? But I should be popular like my song. Now when people see me, they attach the Bisa brand to me because they saw me in the video and think I was featured on a Bisa Kdei song,” he stated.

Bisa Kdei has dominated the highlife music scene for some time now by releasing quite a number of good songs.

Some industry players have rooted for him to be crowned Artiste of the Year at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

Ace broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa in a poem described Bisa as a proud musicians of Ghanaian heritage who sings life songs with humility and peace, lights up the dance floor at classy parties and puts worrying minds of the hustlers at ease.
