Shatta Wale Accuses The Media For Destroying His Relationship With Samini

Shatta Wale has blamed the Ghanaian media for infiltrating into his relationship with Samini

Just last year, Shatta/Samini relationship nearly revived when Shatta Wale performed several songs by Samini on stages. Nonetheless, they were both featured on “No Yawa” HIV/AIDS awareness campaign song but it seems both haven’t gathered enough courage to approach each other for peace.

Shatta Wale, who kick started this year with a warning song to his colleagues sees the Ghanaian media to be the warmongers between them.  He thus blamed the media for the exacerbating feud between him and Samini while on “The Late Nite Celebrity Show” hosted by Giovani on e.TV.

In response to a fan’s question on how soon Ghanaians should expect their collaboration, the self-acclaimed Dancehall king said “We were supposed to work on that last year – I was telling Bulldog when we were in America that we should come and work with him. We were ready to give him some money to work with him but the whole thing turned into something else because people thought we were joking.”

“I will blame the media slightly because they made it seem we were trying to tease him. I always say in interviews Samini is a big artiste and I respect him a lot. So if I want to work with him and paying him 80,000 do a song, even my management can’t do anything about it; because that’s how much I respect him as an artist. I’m still looking forward it. May be at some point, he might do it for free. Its music and when the right time comes, we will do it.
