''Kristi never used bathtubs'' - friend tells police

According to a friend, Bobbi Kristina found unresponsive in a bathtub is nonsense since she was ''deathly afraid of bathtubs''.

The investigation into the Bobbi Kristina case has taken a different twist after her good friend, Debra Reis Brooks, explains to the police what really happened before she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31.

In a shocking new interview with RadarOnline, Debra says, ''Things occurred in my house I wish I didn’t see or hear.''

Admitting that the bathtub scene or story doesn't seem real, she revealed Kristina had stopped bathing in a bathtub since her mother accidentally drowned in one back in February 2012 at a Beverly Hilton Hotel.

''As I’m observing things and words, I started to think, 'Wait a minute, I still didn’t get it... '' Debrak explains. Adding that, ''I didn’t think foul play, but thinking how Krissi got in that tub. It didn’t make sense. Krissi never took a bath, ever ever! She was deathly afraid of bathtubs. No way Krissi would have drawn a bath, no way.''

Kristina's partner, Nick Gordon (who's now been accused of wanting to kill Bobbi) had a friend called Max Lomas whose mother, Marlene Bradley has said in March that her daughter told her she also didn’t think the drowning was an accident.

''Danyela heard Nick screaming and yelling,'' shortly before Bobbi Kristina was discovered in the tub, Marlene said in an interview. ''Nick was the last person to see [Bobbi Kristina] alive.''

Brooks confesses she now regrets not taking some kind of action in the days before the tragedy.

''It haunts me,'' Brooks says. ''Damn it, why didn’t I knock on their door? I wanted to help her and save her.''

Debra is now actively working with police on the ongoing criminal investigation.
