Dumsor is a killer disease- Afia Schwarzenegger

Afia is one of the many Ghanaian celebrities expected to hit the streets on May 16, 2015 to protest against the ongoing "Dumsor" that is currently the frustrations of Ghanaians.

Controversial Comedian, TV Presenter and Actress Afia Schwarzenegger has lately taken to social media to slam the government over the current 'Dumsor' situation in Ghana and this morning, she shared this photo and wrote;

“I dnt work for any political party...i am an emplyee of EIB network(Kasapa 102.3 fm) and Despite group of companies UTv (none of it represents any political party in Ghana).Am a mother of 3....with a 9 months baby in the house ...electricity becomes a must.#heating her food,making formula etc.

I spend 120-150 ghc a day on fuel to power my generator...i dnt need someone to tell me how much the dumsor is affecting my finances not to talk of my shop that i closed down due to lack of power.

We are taking this demo to another levelPlease tell me how badly dumsor has affected u and end ur story with #BRINGBACKOURLIGHTS#Dumsor is a killer disease!!!"

The #Dumsormuststop vigil is set for May 16, 2015 and it starts from University of Ghana stadium from 5pm to the park by villagio. Dress code is black and people who will join are expected to come along with candles, torch lights and any form of light producing items.
