The event, organised by Juliet Ibrahim Foundation (JIF) is slated for May 1.

The Ghana team will be led by actress, Nana Ama Mcbrown while Halima Abubakar will captain the Nigerian team.

According to organisers, the Female Celebrities Soccer Match aims at raising funds for critical needs of patients suffering from kidney related ailments.

“The ultimate goal is to support charitable beneficiaries as recognised by the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation. Amongst the patients that will benefit from this cause include;  a 34 year old lady; Debbie Nwaozor a sickle cell carrier recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and requires a renal replacement therapy (Kidney transplantation and dialysis)”.

The celebrities will be supporting the goal with their various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
