What Bill's daughter thinks of Kanye West's 2020 Presidential run

Find out what the former US First Daughter, Chelsea Clinton has this to say about Kanye's hopeful run for the White House in 2020

Chelsea Clinton and Kanye West

Kanye West might or might not be running for president come 2020 but after his widely watched presidential announcement at the 2015 MTV VMAs, former US First Daughter, Chelsea Clinton has this to say.

In a recent interview with MTV News, Chelsea said West's mid-VMAs declaration is 'awesome', explaining that his grand speech might have inspired younger people to get involved in politics

"I definitely think who runs for office is really important. Even if him just saying that helps spark a little boy or a little girl who was watching the VMAs to think, 'Oh, wow! Maybe I should do that,' that's awesome," Chelsea said.

When asked if she would support a West candidacy in 2020, Clinton gave a perfectly diplomatic response. She said: "I think it depends on who he’d be running against," Clinton said as a nod to the fact that if her mother Hillary Clinton wins the presidential elections in 2016, she could be running against West for a second term.

While West doesn't yet have Clinton's full support, he's already garnered an impressive number of celebrity supporters. Taylor Swift has (jokingly) offered to serve as his running mate and the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan has made it clear they're ready to take on the white House in 2020
