Singer addresses drug addiction reports

Chris Brown wants his fans to know that he is in good health despite fresh reports of his substance abuse.

The father-of-one has now shared his opinion on the reports via his Instagram stories on Friday, March 3, 2017, and contrary to belief, he assured his fans that he is in good health.

Brown, however, lamented over the fact that his progress in life is constantly marred by controversial issues like a report on drug addiction.

He said, “I’m tired of reading about some s**t soon as I’ve got something popping.

“Soon as I want to promote a tour, a party, a fu**ing album, anything, y’all bring up something.”

He shared a second video showing the current remodeling going on in his home studio, proving that his focus is entirely on music.

He said, “My weed and my work. That’s all I need."

Billboard reports that former staff members of the artist's "Loyal" team, emphasized that Brown's addiction to substances such as Xanax, lean, molly, and cocaine, often led to unpredictable behavior.

A former associate threw some insight on the singer's struggle with addiction, noting that his alleged use of various drugs may be rooted in his fears of dealing with his past mistakes.

“He doesn’t know how to deal with the sins of the past.

“It’s always someone else’s fault. He becomes the victim. And I think he tries to numb whatever he is feeling.”

We would like to believe that Brown has turned a new leaf, if for nothing else, but for the sake of his daughter, Royalty.
