On why she left Emklan Entertainment, Dela mentioned that it was to enable her further her education.

“I was signed on for five years and did a little about two years. We had to come to a consensus to call off. It was mutual. I had to go to school; he wanted to do things in a certain way. We were really okay with it but at a point, I believed I had to focus on my school and afterwards, we would come back to talk about the terms again… I had to go to school so I had to talk to him. They obviously would not want to be dormant while I’m in school so it was really mutual. I’m yet to go back and talk,” she said.

Dela now holds a BSC in Public Relations and Marketing from University of Professional Studies, Accra and is a Vehicle life consultant at Nissan.

She is out with “Let Me Go”, her first single after the long break from the mainstream.
