The actress has stated her interest to contest for the parliamentary election in the Tema Central Constituency on the ticket of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).

Ms Bright, who resides in the constituency and is said to have lived most of her life there, said the CPP in Tema Central had, for the past months, shown much leadership and care for its residents and was at the advantageous position of winning the 2016 parliamentary election.

According to the actress, the constituency CPP had become the voice of residents by voicing community problems through its numerous press releases, leading to instant responses by the relevant authorities.

She added that the constituency CPP had also been very instrumental in reporting the numerous sewage bursts, the lack of street lights and robberies within the constituency, which has led to swift responses by the appropriate authorities to tackle some of the issues raised.

These are just a few of the various community activities that the constituency CPP has been engaged in. Ebi also thinks that since Tema is the brainchild of the CPP, it would take only the CPP in Tema Central to get Tema back to its glory.

Ms Bright is also a social worker, talk show host, and media producer. She studied Management at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and also has four levels of French language proficiency awarded by le Centre International de Recherche et d’Etudes de Langues (CIREL), France.
