Girl accuses of Rev. Owusu Bempah of rape and forced abortion

Rev. Owusu Bempah in his interview denied ever meeting the girl and added that the allegation was a plot to tarnish his image

Betty Hipsy, real name Betty Kesewa, has accused Rev. Issac Osei- Bempah,  founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry International, of impregnating her and shamefully forcing her to abort the pregnancy. Betty hipsy, over the past weeks has wailed on social media expressing her pain and bitter relationship with the Reverend Issac who has left her for another woman.

Betty Hipsy, curvaceous and ambitious young woman in one of her facebook post wrote, “See how pastor Owuse Bampah [Rev. Owusu Bemoah] who called himself man of God has beaten me yestnight [last night] and said he is given me one month and see if I will live, the world is my witness".

Recalling her tramatised relationship with the man of God, Betty added, "Rev. Owusu Bempah after forcing her to terminate a pregnancy he is responsible for, started ignoring her anytime she approached him as a lover".“Was pregnant for him [Rev. Owusu Bempah] and he asked me to abort it and I did after that he was ignoring me so went to see him yestnight [last night] and saw him with another girl so we were exchanging words and he started beating me".Betty Hipsy shared a photo of her self and Rev. Issac on her facebook and wrote, “He call himself man of God see how he beat me after letting me abort his baby and saw him with another girl in his house”.

Rev. Issac Owusu Bempah in an interview with an Accra based PeaceFMonline.com denied ever meeting gaze with Betty Hipsy.

He added, “I have never set my eyes on her. Someone sent me her picture today. I am really shocked”.  “I had a call somewhere last week. The person just mentioned my name, asking who I was talking to, he refused to tell me so I insisted I’ll not have any conversation with him. He quickly mentioned that I always give false prophecy about Nana Addo so he’ll stain my reputation – I hanged-up because I realized he wanted to insult me".

“Another number called me demanding 100 million old Ghana cedis from me [GHC10, 000.00]. The person ordered me to bring the money ‘physical cash’ to jokers [Night Club] around 10pm or else he will expose me to the world. There have been occasions where spies track me to my house as well,” he added.

Rev. Owusu Bempah insisted he had never seen the girl and only heard of her name when a family member told him of her allegations against him trending on facebook.

“The lady [Betty] claimed she came to my house a night before so that was Tuesday night right? That Tuesday night I was at church. I left the church around 8:30pm to 9:00pm. I am not the only person home…I live with other family members”.
