One Direction fans have initiated an online campaign to register David and Victoria Beckham's son, Brooklyn Beckham, into the boys band. The campaign sparked after 16-year-old Brooklyn, shared some backstage pictures of himself and the One Direction band mates.

The group have not released any official statement concerning their fans petition but they have revealed things are not easy since Zayn Malik left the band

The Band were left devastated earlier this year with Zayn Malik sadden departure from the group.
One social media user wrote: “Dear Brooklyn Beckham, fancy being the 5th member of One Direction? #bestideaever”.
Another added: “Let's make @brooklynbeckham the new 5th Member of @onedirection".

While someone else tweeted very excitedly in capital letters: “PETITION FOR BROOKLYN BECKHAM TO JOIN ONE DIRECTION. DO Y'ALL REALIZE HOW HAPPY LOUIS WOULD BE?”.
