Sarkodie dodgy on retiring from music

His fans took to Twitter to ask him to confirm if indeed he is retiring from the music industry.

What is certain is he has ruled out dropping a hit song for his fans to celebrate the Christmas. But he has told his fans to look out for his colleague Akwaboa, who he said has "some fire for the rest of the year."

He told a worried Twitter fan that he can't retire from music.

Then he laughed out loud when another fan wondered how he is going to survive for two years without Sarkodie. His tweet did not rule out the retirement story.

Sarkodie early this month generated a Twitter storm when he revealed that his former girlfriend wasn't patient.

In a series of tweets which seek to promote his latest song titled "Rich Nigga Shit", the BET Award-winning star revealed that all his "ex-girlfriend needed was a little patience".

Speaking about how social media has affected modern relationships, Sarkodie said "Social media ain't allowing couples enjoy their relationships ... Girls want kimye kinda Love and not knowing the problems they facing."

And further stated "Cos [because] all they see is the glitz n glam ... Don't buy the hype try and appreciate yours if you got a good one.

He also advised girls to go for 'ambitious men not the rich ones'. "But on the real girls shud b looking out for guys with ambitions and a drive for success ... They don't have to b rich #RNS not necessarily," he tweeted.
