How the rapper's engagement ring was made

Here is how Iggy's boyfriend, Nick Young and his jeweler, Jason Arasheben of Beverly Hills, made the ring.

While Iggy Azalea's proposal was surprise, the ring was definitely not as Nick Young, her boyfriend, had visited the jeweler a lot in order to custom design the perfect ring for his wife-to-be.

Iggy's ring is a 8.15-carat fancy, intense yellow cushion-cut center stone surrounded by 2.28 carats of white diamonds and set in 18-karat white gold.

Concerning the beautiful ring with its unusual color, Jason, the jeweler said, “we wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy’s dreams and a ring that fit her personal style.”

Jason, while talking to also told People StyleWatch, announced that Nick had started throwing around ideas for ring styles nearly two months ago and that he really took his time with the ring making process.

He added,“he knew he wanted a cushion-shaped stone. He was very meticulous and changed minor details on the design a few times, until we both felt it was perfect. [Nick] was really determined to create the perfect ring for her.”

The fancy yellow diamond definitely fits the “Fancy” singer who seems happy and has been flaunts her stunner on Instagram.
