Kojo Manuel turns up Cote D’Ivoire at La Sunday

The event was held at the Aura Beach Resort in Assinie, Ivory Coast which is roughly an hour’s driver outside Abidjan.

The event took place on 5th June and had the whole country at a standstill with the best from both Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire joining forces and entertain the huge crowd which had about 3,000 people showing up.

Representing Ivory Coast was Black Charles, Jeune Lio, Mel V and Sophy Aiida as co-host whiles Ghana had DJ Pizaro and TMSKDJ alongside Kojo Manuel as host.

Kojo Manuel also known as “The King of the M I C” has the crowd engaged throughout the event with partygoers screaming his popular mantra, “Are You Mad” & “I Wanna Know What You Drinking On” etc.

Music on the night has the predominantly French and white crowd singing a lot of Afrobeats songs from Ghana and Nigeria including Down Flat by Kelvynboy, Sugarcane by Camidoh, Kwaku The Traveller by Black Sherif amongst others!

Safe to say the whole Ghana delegation showed out in Côte d’Ivoire and represented Ghana massively. We are looking forward to more collaborations like this to push African events, music & art.
