According to him, Bisa Kdei is a highlife artiste and needs a band to perform with.

According to him, Bisa Kdei is a highlife artiste and needs a band to perform with. He also advised that Bisa constantly rehearse with the band in order to familiarise with them.

Speaking to Hitz FM, Kwabena Kwabena said if Bisa Kdei heeds to his advice, he will be a good performer.

“I would say he’s a great songwriter, great artiste. I only will say that he is a highlife artiste and as far as highlife is concerned, he needs to get closer to identifying himself with a crew, a band. That is what I think he needs to add to his thing. He is a highlife artiste and is supposed to present his music in a certain way. That is my opinion though. If he listens, fine; I feel that he needs to get himself a band, rehearse more with his band and get familiar with his crew and his art will be together. But he’s a fantastic musician and songwriter,” he noted.

The artiste has come under criticismsfor what a section of the public describes as, “abysmal” stage performances.

In retrospect, Bisa Kdei in December 2015 indicated that he has improved on his stage performance.

He asked that he should not be compared to other artistes as he was doing his best to make sure he satisfies his fans.

“I will plead with anyone who has that thought to go and watch my stage performance. As an artiste, you need a creative director. I started in the studio, I didn’t start on stage… and I’m learning. I’m opened to criticisms and ideas. I have been able to improve. And I’m doing well,” Bisa said on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz.

“I’m not pissed at their criticisms. I welcome them. I might be on stage and think I’m doing the right thing but after I get out, some may have reservations,” he added.
