Akufo-Addo should invite musicians to dinner

The President should throw a party for musicians and something [money] small.

On November 1, 2017, Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah popularly called Shatta Wale was invited to the Flagstaff house by President.

It started as a simple request from Shatta Wale on Twitter on October 13 to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He asked the president, “Your excellency, Tuesday is my birthday ..what are you giving me.@NAkufoAddo ”

The president responded on his birthday inviting him to the Flagstaff House with a tweet in Pidgin.

Award-winning artists, Stonebwoy and Samini also requested to meet the president via social media post.

In an interview with Joy Prime, Lawyer Ampaw said, if the President fails to heed to this call, it might affect him in the 2020 December elections.

“He should invite all the known artistes in Christmas and host them. I mean all those in the industry. He should dine with them. A party will celebs. With that, he can speak to them and tell them they are all fans…” he said.

“He might turn some of them and that wouldn’t be nice. He can’t grant everyone that request. He should throw a party and give them something [money] small. That way they will praise him. But if he fails to it can also affect him…” he maintained.
