Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame has graded Bice Osei Kuffour’s performance as president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) 65%.
According to the ‘rap doctor’, the MUSIGA president, known in showbiz circles as Obour, together with his management have done well as they have been able to chalk notable successes.

Okyeame Kwame on Kasapa FM’s indicated that the administration has recorded successful initiatives during its tenure of office.
“In general I will mark Obour’s administration 65%. They did quite well to bring on board new schemes which he was able to accomplish though there are others yet to achieve,” he said.

He remarked that the Ageing Musician Welfare Fund, an initiative by the administration was commendable and should be continued by any administration.
Incumbent Obour has said that he deserves a second term because his administration has been able to chalk a number of successes including the Institutionalization of Ageing Musicians Welfare, Setting up a MUSIGA Academy, signing a contract with Charterhouse which makes the union have a major stake when it comes to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards as well as accountability brought to the union by himself and his executives.

About 150 delegates will converge at the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua on October 29, 2015 to elect executives who will steer the affairs of the Musicians Union of Ghana for the next four years.
