According to Mzbel who spoke on The Delay Show, she kissed Maxwell once. She added that because she is a good kisser, she will not kiss more than once after realising one is bad at it.

“I love Maxwell but on a different level. Kissing is not a big deal. Yeah [I kissed him] but I’m a good kisser so if you are not good, I will kiss you once and will not kiss you again,” she said.

Asked if that suggested that Maxwell Mensah is a bad kisser, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah as known in private life replied in the affirmative.

“Yeah, to me," she stated.

Recounting what ensued between them during their friendship days, Mzbel said, “The reason why it did not develop into anything else is that, I made him a lot of promises that I could not keep, I knew I could not keep so there was no need being around. But I am happy he finally has someone and is happy.”

Rumour of the actree snatching the singer’s boyfriend gained brewed three months after the latter broke up with Maxwell. But Nana Ama Mcbrown in 2014 denied the claims. Speaking on Pluzz FM’s Am Pluzz, Mcbrown said she had never snatched any man from another woman; rather, the men run after her.

Meanwhile, Maxwell and Mcbrown have announced plans to tie the knot in April at a rather low-key event.
