Presenter Takes on Viasat 1, Calls Their Studio "Kontonmere Farm"

TV3’s presenter Nana Aba Anamoah lost her temper live on television when she used foul words to describe Viasat 1.

A new award scheme “JIGWE Awards” organized by Viasat 1 has the Accra based TV station “TV 3” in the  “JIGWE COPY CUT OF THE YEAR” category alongside Gh One, E TV and U TV. This nomination didn’t go well with the TV personality and show host, Nana Aba Anamoah, thus she descended heavily on the awards organisers.  On Monday morning, “This Morning” TV show host and her colleagues were reviewing the performance of Ghanaian television stations when such words came from her.

According to her, TV 3 should’ve never been nominated even if the awards are meant for joke. She hit back at Viasat 1 live on TV, describing one of their new studios as a "Kontonmere farm" (Cocoyam farm).
