I’m not enthused about a legislative house member status - Zylofon CEO tells Kasoa youth

Nana Appiah Mensah has turned down calls for him to vie for a parliamentary seat in Kasoa.

His response comes after the youth of Kasoa in the Central Region formed a self-financed movement to help get him elected as the Member of Parliament in the area.

The youth recently launched a campaign to get the millionaire, a native of Kasoa, elected for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Reports said a delegation is being put together by the movement to convince the man popularly known as NAM 1 to contest the next parliamentary elections.

He further revealed that he is 'committed to creating one million decent jobs in Ghana within 5 years'.

NAM1 took to his official Instagram account Thursday, August 2, to respond to the call, saying: “I appreciate the call but, I am not enthused about a legislative house member status now. I am committed to creating One Million decent jobs in Ghana within 5 years. Let's keep our gaze on that and that only.”
