According to BOSSIP, Prosecutors disclosed that Jelani Maraj’s DNA matches semen found on his 12-year-old accuser’s clothes, and have offered him a deal of 15 years to life imprisonment.

Anthony Pirri, the assistant district attorney told the judge at a hearing July 26, 2016 in Nassau County Supreme Court’s sex crimes division, "A DNA profile, a partial profile matching the defendant or consistent with the defendant, your honor, to the point in the hundreds of billionths of chance of it being any other individual, was discovered in the pants of the complainant in this case, and also tested positive indicating the presence of semen."

The 12-year-old victim told police that Maraj repeatedly raped and sodomized her between April 1 and November 30, 2015. The Police however arrested him the day after the last alleged rape.

Following the payment of his bail by his famous rapper sister, Nicki, reports reveal that there has been a back and forth as to the handing down of the decision for over one month now, before finally finding Maraj guilty on April 4, 2016, according to court records.

The grand jury reportedly decided that there has been enough evidence to charge newlywed Maraj with sexually abusing the teen girl.
