I was not sacked by Lynx Entertainment – Zigi

Zigi says his move to join a different production house was a peaceful one and he still considers Lynx as family

Kweku Sarpong Plahar known in showbiz as Zigi has refuted reports that he was sacked by Lynx Entertainment.

The artiste who began his career in the entertainment industry as a break dancer signed to Lynx Entertainment record label in 2009 and released his debut album ‘’Prince of Pop’ in 2011. He went on to win the Ghana Music Awards Afro Pop song of the Year with his ‘’U Sey Wey Tin’’ track.

Zigi had since been with Lynx Entertainment until he recently joined a new record label, Mo City Records for a reported sum of $300,000.

The artiste in an interview with Giovani on Accra based YFM dispelled assertions that he was sacked from Richie Mensah’s record label. He stated that his move to join a different production house was a peaceful one and he still considers Lynx as family.

Zigi is out with a single ‘’Power’’ and is set to release his “Born in October” album in the month of October.
