'Solar energy will solve dumsor'

According to the Rap Dacta, Ghana is reeling under power crisis because no conscious effort has been made to tap the sun’s energy to power the nation.

Rapper, Okyeame Kwame, has advised the government to invest heavily in solar parks to power the nation so as to help put a stop to the current power crisis (Dumsor) in the country.

“We are always told that we are running our power plants on gas. But I think the question should rather be ‘when are we as a people going to harness the solar energy’? he asked during question and answer time at his #OKStripped Concert which came of on Friday May 8 at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.

"....We have the sun shining every day. So let the scientists among us help us with how we can harness solar energy and the whole dumsor wahala will stop", he stated.

Okyeame Kwame’s comment comes at a time some celebrities are preparing to hold a #DumsorVigil to fight against the current power crisis.
