Dee Aja performs 'Onaapo' at Ovation 2016 Christmas Carol

The musician, whose song Onaapo is now an anthem in Ghana performed the Gospel version (John 3:16) at the event.

President Mahama who lost the election to Nana Akufo-Addo in the general elections was among several dignitaries that graced the 9th edition of the event organized by Chief Dele Momodu.

Dignitaries at the event include President John Mahama and Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim.

The 2016 edition of the Ovation Carol was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, December 18, 2016.

David Aja, who was interviewed by Pulse.com.gh has said he wasn't paid for his hit campaign song "Onaapo".

According to him, he was not approached by the National  Democratic Congress (NDC) but he did the song for the love of the party he has supported for some time now.
