"Change black star in National flag to gold star for progress" - Mr. Ibu

"Black star means somebody whose luck is not shinning and everybody has a star either on their forehead"

Mr. Ibu

Famous Nigerian actor and comedian, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu has urged Ghana to change the black star in the Ghanaian flag to enable the country progress.According to him, the country’s fortunes would be bright if the black star is changed to gold since black signifies bad luck.

"Black star means somebody whose luck is not shinning and everybody has a star either on their forehead or palm so if Ghana produces gold which shines everywhere, why would your star be black?”“As soon as Ghana changes the black star to gold, they will see progress,” Mr. Ibu said in an interview with Adom FM.He added that he wonders why Ghana still had a black star in the middle of the country’s flag when the West African nation has gold in abundance.
