Wizkid is not a superstar, stop overrating him - Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale says he doesn't see anything extraordinary about Nigerian musician, Wizkid who has collaborated with A-lister international musicians including Drake, Tinie Tempah, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, French Montana, Kranium, Ty Dolla $ign, Justine Skye, Swiss Beatz among others.

“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste…” He said on Kasapa FM.

Shatta Wale, real name Charles Nii Armah added that he is not bragging about his wealth or competing with anyone but it's high time Ghanaian artistes respect themselves and stop rating Nigerian artistes into the sky.

Earlier this month, the Dancehall King revealed in an interview that he is worth approximately over ten million dollars after putting in intense hard work in his musical career.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun,27, popularly called Wizkid won the Best African Male Artiste award at the just ended 2017 All African Music Awards (AFRIMA)which was held in Lagos on Sunday, November 11, 2017.

Wizkid has collaborated with A-lister international musicians including Drake, Tinie Tempah, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, French Montana, Kranium, Ty Dolla $ign, Justine Skye, Swiss Beatz and Efya.
