Jewel Ackah has revealed that he has been battling stroke and other sicknesses for the past 10 years.

Jewel, who is known for the popular national anthem for the National Democratic Congress, made the revelation in an interview with Kofi Adomah Friday, August 11.
According to the vocalist who is in his 70s, he has been on medication and gradually fighting the sickness.

However, his current physique looks disturbing as it appears he is bloating probably due to his sickness.
Last year, he told Onua FM that he has been battling so many sicknesses.
“I have been battling with stroke, leg pain and I mean so many things. I just give thanks to the Almighty God for even bringing me this far.
At first, I couldn’t walk nor speak. For now, I am able to walk a little but not all that good as compared to the first,” he said.
