"Guru has made history with his ‘Education For All’ project" – Nana Oye Lithur

Gender, Children and Social Protection minister, Nana Oye Lithur has praised rapper Guru for his “Education For All” project.

Guru donating 1000 books at a social gathering organized by The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection at Moree in the central region of Ghana.

The award winning hit maker Guru, as part of his “Education For All” project donated 1000 books at a social gathering organized by The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection at Moree in the central region of Ghana.

The huge gathering which had students, teachers, school administrators, the town elders and government officials present, was chaired by the honorable Minister, Nana Oye Lithur, who received the books on behalf of the kids.

The minister who was very impressed with the donation made by Guru had this to say; “Thank you Guru for a 1000 books for all the children of Moree, for the good cause. I’m sure you went to school, you sat in class, you listened to your teachers and you know the importance of education. This is the first ever in the history of Ghana that we have an Artiste, a Musician donating 1000 books. Guru, Nyame nhyira wo (God bless you).”

Guru’s ‘Education For All’ project is part of his social responsibility project to support government and help lessen the  financial burden on stationery on parent.
