The actress who described social media as a double-edged sword opines that the platform helps celebrities to communicate effectively with their fans. However, some people hide behind it and utter derogatory remarks.

“I wonder what I would do without social media. It helps me to communicate with my fans and following. But I feel it should be controlled because people will sit behind a computer and say so many derogatory words that can make one devastated…they boo people and all. There have been times people have committed suicide due to such remarks. Once it is controlled, it can be used for the greater good of mankind”, she told Pulse.com.gh while sharing her lifestyle, tips, and experiences.

Answering how social media could be used rightly, the “A Northern Affair” movie star said, “it should be used as a tool for changing and empowering people than dissing, insulting, demeaning them”.
