Ricardo Medina Jr, a former star of “Power ranger” has been arrested for stabbing his roommate to death with a sword.
According to reports, Medina was arrested by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies in Palmdale, CA after a fight broke out between himself and the roommate, Joshua Sutter.
According to law enforcement, Medina retreated to his bedroom with his girlfriend. Sutter forced his way into the bedroom and that's when Medina allegedly stabbed him once in the abdomen with the sword, TMZ reported.
Medina then called 911 and waited for the cops to come but he was arrested and booked for murder whiles Sutter was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The 37-year-old made his name in Hollywood as the Red Ranger in the TV series "Power Rangers Wild Force" back in 2002 and also voiced Deker in the video game Power Rangers Samurai, and in the movie Power Rangers Samuria: A New Enemy, which hit theaters in 2012.
Gar Lester, Medina's former agent who has known the actor for 12 years told ABC7 ‘He is a great friend and a great client. It's something I can't even conceive. I don't see that in him. He was a very helpful guy and great with his dog. It's such a shock’.
Medina has been charged and detained with his bill set at $1million.
