Sarkodie says it isn't easy being a president but insists that Mr. Mahama should take full responsibility, be selfless and put things in right order

One time BET award winner and Ghana’s fastest rapper Sarkodie, known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo, has been one of Ghana’s most celebrated personalities who have constantly slammed the incumbent government over the current economic crisis facing the country.

Apart from releasing his “Inflation” series tracks (an attempt to draw the government’s attention to issues bothering Ghanaians), the rapper has constantly expressed his dissatisfaction in the John Mahama-led government through social media as well.

The frustrated SarkCess Music owner also on Friday, May 1 hit President Mahama and his ministers over the current erratic power supply, misuse and embezzlement of the public funds, economic hardships, and living conditions among other things in a Twitter rant.

Before his rant, Pulse.com.gh spotted two tweets which affirm his pity for the President but Sarkodie insists that Mr. Mahama should take full responsibility, be selfless and put things in right order.

“It ain't easy being a president and I don't think I can but if you choose to, you can't be selfish..It is only for the selfless #Leader” Sarkodie tweeted.

“I want a president who will be addressing same issues as the people every second so I know he cares,” he added.
