Sarkodie has shared his plans for his contribution to the growth and development of the country this year.
The rapper says his vision will impact the lives of the youth and give upcoming musicians a platform to cultivate their talent.
The Ghanaian rapper says he is motivated by his past and the struggles he had to overcome.
He said that the plans were still being discussed with the communications ministry and other stakeholders in order to find the right ways to not only sustain the project but make it effective in delivery to the youth.
“Listening to the president, let me say, I have grown over the years, when I came in initially, obviously we are all kind of frustrated with what we are supposed to do so who do we turn to? The parents are the government. That has always been my approach but I think growing up and maturing till now, I have realized that we need to take things into our own hands. We are actually lucky that it is not too flooded with people taking all the opportunities, we have more than we can explore” he said.
Ghana Job Bank offers recruitment, youth mentoring programs, internships opportunities and nurturing young entrepreneurs to become successful with their business ideas.
Sarkodie was joined by actress Joselyn Dumas who was on board with the initiative and pledged her support to the programme.
Ghana’s number one rapper said he will make it his task to change the mindset of Ghanaians especially the youth to not place all hope in government or wait for the government to create jobs but rather develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
