I won’t be surprised if Justice Dery sues Satan – Afia Schwarzenegger

Here comments came in the wake of numerous suits filed by the justice regarding the expose’ by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

According to comedienne and media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, she will not be surprised if embattled Justice Uuter Dery sues Satan for making him a corrupt judge.

In the latest investigative piece, thirty-four judges at the country’s High Courts, the Circuit and District courts were captured on camera allegedly taking bribes from litigants whose cases come before them.

Justice Paul Uuter Deryafter suing the producers of the video, Tiger Eye PI, earlier filed another suit to stop the premiering of the video at the Accra International Conference Centre. He subsequently sued the facility for contempt after the video was screened.

Few days later, he filed a suit against the Managing Director of Global Cinemas, Ernest Boateng on the basis that Mr. Boateng has advertised his intent to air the judicial corruption exposé at his video center at Weija in Accra.

The latest is a suit which sought to stop EIB Network’s Ultimate 106.9FM, Anas’ firm Tiger Eye PI and the Golden Tulip from screening the video in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

Afia Schwarzenegger has suggested that indicted Justice Dery is giving room for Ghanaians to mock him and will not be surprised if he “sues Satan for making him a corrupt Judge that collects Yams,Goat and 4000 ghs just to drop a narcotic case”.
