Iggy Azalea Responds To Eminem's Rape Threats

The already controversial Eminem managed to cross a new line when he made rape innuendoes toward Iggy Azalea in his new album.

Amidst a storm of rape allegations against Bill Cosby comes another allegation against a man who is in another type of limelight.

Previewing a small sample of the album Wednesday night, Slim Shady managed to alienate both Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj in this short preview.

In the track called “Vegas” from his upcoming ShadyXV compilation album, the lyrics spoke for themselves:

“You’re lucky just to follow my ride/ If I let you run alongside the Humvee, unless you’re Nicki/ Grab you by the wrist, let’s ski/ So, what’s it gon’ be?/ Put that sh-t away, Iggy/ You gon’ blow that rape whistle on me.”

To make matters worse, Iggy’s 14-year-old brother is a huge fan of Eminem’s, something Iggy made sure to point out when confronting the star on Twitter.

Commenting on a very pressing and important issue about the rape culture of the music industry, Iggy offered a reasonable argument to the state women have been degraded to on multiple levels.

While her tweets may have been aimed toward Slim Shady and her recent stint with Snoop Dogg, the idea stretches far beyond the music industry.
