Highlife-artiste-turned-pastor, Ofori Amponsah joined his mentor, Daddy Lumba on stage to sing old songs the two had collaborated on at Lumba’s 51st birthday concert.

The event held at the National Theatre on Saturday saw performances from K.K Fosu, Joyce Blessing, ASP Kofi Sarpong among others.

Ofori Amponsah helped Daddy Lumba in cutting his birthday cake after which he gave great testimonies about the singer who played an important role in his entire music career.

The comeback of Head Pastor of the Holy Ground Sanctuary to highlife stunned some industry watchers. hinted that he will sing highlife and still perform his duties as a pastor.

His manager, Franklyn Wiafe Agyekum has stated that the artiste cum pastor will not be singing secular songs; rather love songs to heal the broken-hearted.
