“Sarkodie, Yvonne, DKB and others were paid”

According to rapper Tinny, his colleague rapper Sarkodie, actress Yvonne Nelson, comedian DKB, and other leaders of the #DumsorMustStop campaign have been paid.

 

Outspoken rapper, ‘Bardman’ Tinny has waded onto the just ended #DumsorMustStop vigil which started at On-Th-Run and ended at Tetteh Quashie Roundabout, Legon, Accra. The riot which according to our reporters was very peaceful, has received massive commendations and criticisms as well.

Ga dialect rapper Tinny, who is amongst the critics, has disclosed that rapper Sarkodie, actress Yvonne Nelson, comedian DKB, and other leaders of the campaign have been paid in an interview on Hitz FM over the weekend.

“Those involved the #DumsorMustStop vigil were paid. People like Sarkodie, Yvonne, DKB and the rest have been paid. I heard it.”

Though, he revealed that he supports the vigil but would like to be equally paid like his colleague celebrities before he would fully participate.

“For me, I need the money. I don’t want white envelope, I need the brown,” he concluded.

The vigil which came off on Saturday, May 16 saw a huge turn out with appearances from Ghanaian entertainment industry workers and politicians.
