Kontihene needs coaching in public communication – Okraku-Mantey

His comments came on the back of several comments by the rapper which has subjected him to public backlashes.

Chief Executive Officer of Slip Music, Mark Okraku-Mantey has stated that hiplife artiste, Kontihene needs to be educated on how best to speak in public.

It would be recalled that Kontihene’s feud with rapper, Kwaw Kese was ignited when the former said the latter does not record songs with good content and therefore he [Kontihene] will by no means consider doing collaboration with him.

Kontihene extended the altercation to Hitz FM’s Amanda Jissi as he stated that the radio personality was supporting Kwaw Kese because her conscience had been bought with a G-String underwear and GHC 5, 000 gifted her by the rapper on her birthday, adding that menopause was eating up her brains.

According to the presenter, her offence was that she interviewed Kwaw Kese on Kontihene’s statement which led to the Fante rapper saying that Kontihene should concentrate on his dying career.

Few days after, a fan commented on Kontihene’s post asking why he would compare himself to Kwaw Kese when he [Kontihene] gets 71 likes for a post that has lasted for eleven hours. This led to Kontihene’s reply which suggested that Sam was as stupid as the mother.

The most recent comments by Kontihene which Okraku-Mantey finds unfortunate is the claim that he [Kontihene] is the only musician who makes music with good content in Ghana right now.

“I am the only one whose songs are forever enjoyed in Ghana because a lot of Ghanaian musicians rush and churn out songs which has no good message for people so their songs don't last and they are forced to keep releasing new songs within very short periods of time," he said on Adom FM’s Efiada Mbosuo.

Making a submission on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Okraku-Mantey suggested that Kontihene needs someone to coach him on how to speak in public.

“I am an advocate for a good content for music. But I think he needs coaching on public communication. Maybe what he is saying it good; but you can’t be the only one,” he said.
