Musician Says African Football Deserves Better

Grammy award-winning musician, Wyclef Jean who seems to be following the on-going AFCON felt disappointed by the rowdy behavior of the Equatorial Guinea fans during the country’s match with Ghana on Thursday.

The fans who were bitter about the country’s 3-0 loss to Ghana,  decided to react by throwing water bottles and other items at the Ghanaian players and football officials on the pitch.

Wyclef therefore took to twitter to express his feeling towards the behavior of these fans saying “The tournament have come into a shameful halt by the home fans, #African Football deserve better #AFCON2015 #EquatorialGuinea”.

“Game over #BlackStars #azonto @FuseODG #AFCON2015 #Clefication”, he added.
