Roverman Productions plan second show in Sunyani

Exactly a week after Roverman Productions took its play "Women on Fire" to Sunyani, the capital city of the Brong Ahafo Region, it says it plans taking another play to the city.In an exclusive interview with Infoboxdaily, the Head of Business Development at Roverman Productions, Mr. Kabutey Ocansey said the overwhelming number of fans who attended the show encourages the theatre house to return to the City with another spellbinding play.“We had close to one thousand theatre audience coming to watch 'Women on Fire'. Some people came not only from Sunyani but Kenyase, Berekum, Techiman and other neighbouring towns and cities to watch," he said.Mr. Kabutey added that for the first time Roverman Productions took its play to Sunyani and received such a rousing welcome, the Brong Ahafo regional capital deserves to be treated with another performance.The Women on Fire play was held in Sunyani on May 1, 2015. Uncle Ebo Whyte, the brain behind Roverman Productions, is currently working on his latest play (Forbidden Fruit) to be out-doored at the end of the month.industry watchers agree theatre plays are beginning a slow but steady resurgence.
