Nollywood is set to experience the shocking thrills of ‘Autumn Leaves’ a new movie produced by Chidi Dominic. With the combination of a deeply sensitive and disturbing script by Reginald Ebere, a passionate performances by Stanley Ekwelike, Eucharia Anunobi and Adesua Etomi, as well as the expertise and excellent directing of award winning Ikechukwu Onyeka, ‘Autumn Leaves’ looks set to become the break out movie of this season.

The movie which is a soul searching journey into the sometimes dark and forbidden area of same sex relationships manages to walk a cautious path without being offensive to the sensitivities and sensibilities of those who consider lesbianism and homosexuality offensive.

The movie is an intriguing tale of two superstar gay musicians Simon (StanleyEkwelike) and Cindy (Adesua Etomi) whose paths cross when their managers decide to bring them together in an arranged relationship in order to shore up their publicpersonae and build up their fan base. The arrangement which appeared to be heading towards disaster when the two move in together gradually unfolds into a reluctant friendship until suddenly they both realize that they were not really gay after all, but had been made to believe they were by their environment and their upbringing.

‘Autumn Leaves’ also features Belinda Effah, Okey Uzoeshi, Zubby Michael and Big Brother stars Melvin Oduah and Beverly Osu, it is also supported by a crew led by award winning producer and costumiere Chiemela Nwagboso , talented make-up artist Oge Eze, and a special appearance by an international make-up artist, Dave Sucre.

Here are some behind the scenes photos from ‘Autumn Leaves’.
