This month, let God be the shepherd of your life

Proverbs 3:6 - "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."

Daily Devotional

These people act like their lives are theirs to do whatever with, but the Bible tells us otherwise.

Psalm 139:16 says, "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

God knew us way before we were born, He saw our lives, mistakes, victories, everything before we were conceived.

Ephesians 2:10; "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Thus, it only makes sense that we return to Him, rather than try, and fail to navigate life, on our own.

1 Peter 2:25 tells us, "For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."

Today marks the beginning of September, a new month, meaning we have been given another chance to return to the shepherd of our lives.

Revelation 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me."

There is no need to be afraid or scared because He, through His Son, Jesus Christ, has paid the ultimate price for all of us.

In addition, He has promised to be guide us through life.

Isaiah 30:21 confirms this, "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Psalm 18:36 goes on to say, "You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way."

Let us take advantage of this new month, a fresh page, to let God back into our lives, so that He can finish the good work, that He has already started.
