'Mortal Kombat' actor dies at 42

‘Arrow’ and ‘Mortal Kombat' star, Darren Shahlavi, passes away at the age of 42.

Darren Shahlavi, a martial artist popular for his character in the TV shows 'and ' has died.

The 42-year-old martial artist was found dead on January 14, 2015 at his  Los Angeles home. His agent confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to TMZ, the actor had a history of drug and alcohol abuse and he died of an overdose .Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the news

“RIP Darren Shahlavi. 1st guy I ever fought on Arrow. He was a great dude & a patient, thoughtful partner. Fight looked good because of him.” - he tweeted.
